Our religious education program (also known as CCD or Sunday school) is tailored for children from grades k through 8.
Our schedule follows the standard school year, with classes from September to May. Classes are Sundays after 10am Mass- from 11:00-12:00.
Our curriculum spans grades k through 8. Students who wish to continue in our youth program past grade 8 are welcome to join our Youth Group program for grades 6 through 12.
In second grade, students prepare for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist.
The standard age for Confirmation is now 6th grade. Older students who have not yet received Confirmation can be accommodated.
Our students follow the Christ Our Life education program from grade k through 8.
Christ Our Life
"Christ Our Life for grades 1-8 maintains the tradition of teaching and reaching God's children. Written by the Sisters of Notre Dame, Christ Our Life continues to provide the thorough foundation of our Catholic faith for which the series has been known."
For more information about the Christ Our Life curriculum, visit Loyola Press.
Thank you for your interest in religious education (CCD).
There is a 2-3 week open enrollment period each year near the end of August/beginning of September for all age groups. However, we are happy to accept students at any time!
The cost for the program is $10 per child or $25 per family, and this fee merely offsets the cost of books and supplies.
If a student is preparing for the Sacrament of First Holy Communion, Reconciliation or Confirmation, we will need a copy of the student's baptism certificate.
