Liturgy Committee at Our Lady of Perpetual Help

The Liturgy Committee discusses and organizes the liturgical activities of the parish. Members include:

  • Pastor
  • Deacon
  • Organist
  • Choir Director
  • Religious Education Director
  • The head of ushers
  • Anyone else who has a responsibility dealing with the Liturgical Life of our parish.

The Committee meets once a month to organize the current and/or coming Season of the Liturgical Year (e.g. Advent, Lent, Holy Days of Obligation, other special feast days). The committee is responsible for selecting appropriate hymns, decorations, special arrangements for feasts, roles suitable for parish children, special arrangements for celebrations of Sacraments and much more.

Suggestions and ideas from our parishioners are always welcome, as the Committee is constantly striving to enhance our activities and events and increase community attendance and involvement.
